Welcome to the Greater Wyoming Council

Spanning over half of the State of Wyoming, the Greater Wyoming Council of the Boy Scouts of America provides service for youth from age 5 to 21. The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for both boys and girls, as well as young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

Description

This merit badge pamphlet gives Scouts a foundation for learning all about canoeing, from learning about the different materials a canoe can be made from and the different types of paddles, to how to be safe on the water, and the requirements for earning the Canoeing merit badge! Through earning the Canoeing merit badge, Scouts will gain knowledge AND canoeing hands-on experience!
