Welcome to the Greater Wyoming Council

Spanning over half of the State of Wyoming, the Greater Wyoming Council of the Boy Scouts of America provides service for youth from age 5 to 21. The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for both boys and girls, as well as young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.

Greater Wyoming Council is proud to help with the molding of Wyoming's youth in to tomorrow's leaders.

  • Fish and Wildlife Management Merit Badge Pamphlet

This merit badge pamphlet has all the information and requirements that Scouts need to earn the Fish and Wildlife Management merit badge. Maintaining the proper balance and dynamics requires our attention. To ensure that our descendants will have the opportunity to experience the same animal diversity that we now enjoy, we need to take our stewardship seriously and do our part to minimize or even eradicate the possibility of extinction of any given species. Among other valuable lessons, Scouts will discover practical ways in which everyone can help with the fish and wildlife conservation effort.
