Spanning over half of the State of Wyoming, the Greater Wyoming Council of the Boy Scouts of America provides service for youth from age 5 to 21. The purpose of the Boy Scouts of America, incorporated on February 8, 1910, and chartered by Congress in 1916, is to provide an educational program for both boys and girls, as well as young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness.
Greater Wyoming Council is proud to help with the molding of Wyoming's youth in to tomorrow's leaders.
Some of the best things about Scouting are the activities you get to do: camping, hiking, racing pinewood derby cars, or doing community service projects that help the neighborhood you live in.
Now is the time to begin your next adventure.
Questions regarding advancement have arisen as we deal with closures, cancellations, or other issues caused by the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Although there are difficulties and constraints, advancement can continue.
The Boy Scouts of America takes great pride in the quality of our adult leadership. True youth protection can be achieved only through the focused commitment of everyone in Scouting.
